THE MOST UNEXPECTABLE AND AMAZING TRIP

One of the most unusual, unexpected and amazing trip I have ever had was my last journey for Peruvian Independence Days. My friends and I had planned to visit Caral Ruins, but lot of things did not work out as we had expected. Let me describe these bellow.

It happened on July 29th, 2016. We met up at Plaza Norte at around 9.00 a.m. We were delighted to be in our trip. When we were all together, we went to buy our tickets, but we got a huge surprise for the price and the long distance as well. The cost was over as in common days. So, for this reason we almost called off the trip because we had not booked it and we also had not taken enough money. However, after 10 minutes that we had been thinking decided to go, just because one of my friends had lent us some money. Thence, we took a bus from Lima to Barranca; though we got off in Supe because there is the entrance to Caral Ruins.

When we were in Supe, to be specific at the terminal, we realized that the price of the tickets were too expensive despite we had looked up and asked some friends from Lima before going. I think it was for the crowd. Anyway, one more time our previous friend gave us a hand and lent us more money because we had already been traveling for about 5 hours and it was not fair came back to Lima even without knowing Caral Ruins which was the purpose of our journey. So, nothing prevented us to follow the plan. Then we took a van from Supe to Caral Ruins, and we eventually arrived there after 20 minutes of traveling by a narrow road. There, we bought our tickets and got into the magnificent Caral Ruins. From then on everything was uneventful, the views were incredibly beautiful, the atmosphere great, the guide helpful, and so on. Although the sun was shining a lot, it did not stop us from spending a great time. We were there at about one hour and a half, however we did not realize it because we were laughing, taking dozens of photos and of course we ate delicious food. I´m positive that I won´t forget this trip in the long run.
From this experience I have learned that before having an outing or a trip, we must be sure about the distance, the cost of tickets, the weather, and the location in order to not be surprised or have a bad experience.
